UNESCO Man and Biosphere label
Located in the Dordogne basin which is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves with the UNESCO “Man and Biosphere” label since July 11, 2012, Neuvic is part of this international network that brings together exceptional sites reconciling biodiversity conservation, cultural enhancement and economic and social development. The Dordogne river basin is the 11th largest reserve in France.
